BeautyRents is an online marketplace that connects salon owners (Hosts) who have extra chairs, rooms, or stations with beauty professionals (Renters) looking for flexible space hourly or daily. It’s a simple, secure way to book and earn from salon spaces.

How does BeautyRents work?

Salon owners list their available spaces with photos, details, and pricing. Beauty professionals can browse, filter, and book those spaces based on location, time, and service needs. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, and both sides receive instant booking confirmation.

Who can use BeautyRents?

Anyone in the beauty industry can join! Hosts: Salon owners or independent studio operators with unused chairs, rooms, or workstations. Renters: Hairstylists, nail techs, lash/brow artists, estheticians, or makeup artists seeking short-term space.

Is there a cost to use BeautyRents?

Creating an account and listing your space is free. BeautyRents charges a small service commission only when a booking is made. Renters pay the listed price; hosts receive payouts automatically after the appointment.

How do payments and payouts work?

All transactions go through Stripe, a trusted global payment processor. Renters pay securely at checkout, and hosts receive payouts directly to their connected Stripe account after the booking is completed.

How do I list my space?

Simply create an account as a Host, click “List Your Space,” and fill in your details — title, description, amenities, photos, pricing, and availability. Once published, renters in your area can find and book your listing immediately.

What if I need to cancel a booking?

Each listing includes a cancellation policy set by the host. Renters should review this before booking. Hosts and renters can cancel within the specified policy window, and refunds are handled automatically through the system.

Do I need insurance to use BeautyRents?

While insurance isn’t required to create an account, it’s strongly recommended for both hosts and renters. Each user is responsible for securing their own liability or business insurance to protect themselves during bookings.

What happens if there’s an issue during a booking?

If a problem arises, both parties can contact BeautyRents support directly. Our team reviews the situation and helps mediate or resolve issues, including refunds or disputes when necessary.

Is BeautyRents available outside Canada?
